Privacy notice

BYT-WYZE operates the Mechanics Derivation Engine (MDE). Contact: info@byt-wyze.com. This notice explains the information used to provide and protect the service.

Information we use

• Your Google account identifier, email address and basic profile information when you sign in.
• Your model requests, confirmed model data, derivation receipts and saved-receipt actions.
• Your questions about active receipts. Conversation history is session-local, although questions and the active receipt are sent for processing when you ask Gemini.
• Usage counters, entitlement status, request-security information and operational logs.
• Stripe customer, subscription and billing-status identifiers. MDE does not receive or store complete card details.

Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, run requested derivations, save your receipts, answer receipt-bound questions, administer subscriptions and usage limits, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and operate the service. Processing needed to provide a requested or subscribed service is based on performing our agreement with you. Security and service-improvement processing is based on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service.

Services involved

Google Firebase provides authentication, hosting, application protection, server functions, storage and operational logging. Google Gemini processes model requests and receipt-bound questions. Stripe processes checkout, subscriptions and billing management. These providers may process information in locations described by their own terms and privacy documentation.

Retention and control

Saved receipts are retained until you permanently delete them. Usage, security, billing and operational records may be retained for service operation, fraud prevention and legal or accounting requirements. You can export or permanently delete individual receipts. The in-app account-deletion control cancels associated subscriptions and deletes the MDE Auth account and Firestore user tree.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. To make a privacy request, email info@byt-wyze.com. We may need to verify your identity.
